C4 AUGUST 11,2016 i beforkentuc .com THE HART COUNTY NEWS-HERALD Katelynn Bunnell received 3rd place in the 4-H Walking Racking Mountain Stock Seat Equitation Class, 3rd in the 4-H Western Country Pleasure Walking Class, 4th place in the 4-H Trail Pleasure Walking Class and 5th in 4-H English Country Pleasure Walking Class at the 2016 Kentucky State 4-H Horse Show in Louisville. Katelynn also partic- ipated in the 2016 District 6 4-H Horse Show in Bowling Green in June and placed 2nd in 4-H Western Country Pleasure Walking, 3rd in the 4-H Trail Pleasure Walking Class, 4th in the 4-H English Country Pleasure Walking Class, 2nd Walking Racking Mountain Stock Seat Equita- tion Class and lOth in Showmanship Division III. Laura Croghan won 1st place in the 4-H Western Versatil- ity Sr. Rider, 2nd in 4-H Western Division Showmanship Ill, 2nd in 4-H Western Horsemanship III, 4th in Hunter Under Saddle III, and 4th in Western Pleasure III at the 2016 Kentucky State 4-H Horse Show in Louisville. Laura also participated in the 2016 District 6 4-H Horse Show in June. She placed 1st in 4-H Western Horsemanship III, 1st in Western Versatility Sr. Rider, 2nd & 3rd in Western Divi- sion Showmanship III, 2nd in Western Pleasure Horse III, 3rd in Hunter Under Saddle, 5th in 4-H Reining and 6th in the 4-H Ranch Pleasure Riding Class. Maribeth Scott won the 4-H Reserve High Point Award in the 4-H Racking Division III at the 2016 District 6 4-H Horse Show. She also received 1st in 4-H Western Coun- try Pleasure Racking Class, 2nd in 4-H English Country Pleasure Racking, 2nd in 4-H Trail Pleasure Racking and 7th in 4-H Bareback Equitation Class at the District 6 4-H Horse Show. Maribeth also participated in the State 4-H Horse Show in Louisville in July and placed 2nd in Western Country Pleasure Racking, 3rd in English Country Plea- sure Racking and 6th in 4-H Trail Pleasure Racking.. KENTUCKY FAIR Greg and Shelley Gore were recent guest speakers at the Munfordville Lions Club. They gave a presentation about their new business, Cruise Planners.
